Vestas receives 400MW supply order

DENMARK: Vestas has announced a master supply agreement for 400MW and an option for an additional 1GW with an undisclosed company.
Vestas said the contract comprises supply, installation, commissioning and a 2-to-10-year service agreement. It said the company had a presence worldwide.
Delivery is set to start next year and is expected to be completed by 2014.
The announcement follows reports that Vestas’ upcoming V112 3MW wind turbine suffered a setback after part of a blade fell off.
